While embedded with the Defense Health Agency's Web and Mobile Technologies team, I was regularly tasked with designing logos and icons for a wide range of applications — from prescription management tools to virtual reality mental health experiences. Some projects came with clear direction and deep familiarity, like the Virtual Hope Box redesign I had worked on extensively. Others arrived with minimal context and required me to quickly get up to speed on the product, its audience, and its purpose before a single sketch was made.

My approach to logo design prioritizes clarity and purpose over visual novelty. Many of these products serve healthcare, mental health, and military audiences where familiarity and approachability matter more than aesthetic experimentation. That constraint is something I came to embrace. Designing within it pushed me to find solutions that feel intentional and grounded rather than decorative.

The work collected here spans 2022 to 2025 and reflects both the range of products I supported and the evolution of my visual design thinking over that time.
